Beacon traces its history to 1992 when Ron Robins entered the financial planning industry at Cigna Financial Advisors. In 1993, Ron left Cigna and began to provide independent financial advice. After founding Beacon in 2000, Ron remains the company's sole owner, and takes great pride in the business he's built helping clients prepare for retirement, navigate difficult life decisions, and achieve financial independence.

Drawn by the same values upon which Beacon was founded, Ron's oldest son Jamie joined his father at Beacon in 2015. Jamie brings with him significant experience in investment analysis and financial markets and is excited to help continue the growth of his father's practice.
